BioQuick 5140 contains beneficial microorganisms on microporous mineral components and trace elements. When added to an aeration pool, these components serve as a substrate and form areas for the growth of bacteria, while trace elements and microorganisms help to accelerate the growth of biomass. As the microbial community develops, BioQuick 5140 increases the size, mass, and sedimentation of flocculent particles. BioQuick 5140 is used in combination with other Novozymes microbial products when commissioning wastewater treatment plants and for recovering from a cleaning process failure.
