OdorCap 5700

Novozymes OdorCap 5700 is a biological solution in odor regulation and control. It is  provided by advanced mixtures of microorganisms, the purpose of which is to eliminate the main odors associated with sewage treatment plants, including sulphide odors, mercaptans, organic acids and sludge.

Unpleasant odors in water treatment plants are an integral part of the cleaning process and are divided into several categories, each of which has a different origin. Unpleasant odors can be a significant problem, especially if the treatment plant is located in the immediate vicinity of residential or commercial areas. The compounds that most often cause offensive odors are sulphides (the smell of rotten eggs), mercaptans (the smell of sulfur) and volatile organic acids (the smell of rancid oil or sweaty socks). Removing these smells is also necessary to maintain a positive attitude of the locals.

Odors are often the result of unintentional biological processes occurring throughout the collection system and water treatment plants and are often best controlled using biological methods. STORAGE
